Making Art to Connect

My art explores themes of trauma, healing and exploration framed through worlbuilding; growing from negative pasts into greater and stronger futures, all while showcasing vibrant cultures and environments.

Most of my creative works start out not as pieces but as writing, be it for characters or for worldbuilding. Through crafting environments with different cultural and narrative inspirations I make complex backgrounds to drop my characters and their stories against. Settings that can take the lead and serve as vehicles for story telling in their own right.

My best art derives from taking slices of these worlds, stories, and characters, and translating them into works of art, bringing you into worlds of diverse, rich experiences. In doing this I hope to connect people with the world around them, the people beside them and who they are inside.
